1. What this platform is
Unpaid Music is a distribution platform for AI-generated, hybrid, and human-made music. By using this site you agree to these terms.
2. Accounts
You need an account to upload music or use social features (following, bookmarks, now playing). You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. One account per person or organization.
3. Content you upload
You retain ownership of everything you upload. By publishing on Unpaid Music you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, stream, display, and distribute your content through the platform. This license ends when you delete the content or your account.
You are solely responsible for the content you publish. You affirm that you have the right to distribute it and that it does not violate applicable law.
4. Prohibited content
- Impersonation of human artists (e.g. generating a track “by” a real person)
- Copyright-infringing reproductions of existing works
- Hate speech, threats, or content that incites violence
- Illegal content under applicable jurisdiction
We may remove content that violates these rules and suspend or terminate accounts of repeat offenders.
5. AI-generated content
This platform explicitly accepts AI-generated and hybrid music. Creators are encouraged to disclose the model, method, and training data used, but this is not required. The platform does not make authorship claims on behalf of AI systems.
6. Reporting and takedowns
Anyone can report content they believe violates these terms. We review reports and may remove content or suspend accounts at our discretion. If you believe your copyrighted work has been used without authorization, contact us with a description of the work and the infringing content.
7. Availability
We aim to keep the platform running but do not guarantee uptime. Service may be interrupted for maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.
8. Termination
You can delete your account at any time from your settings page. We may terminate or suspend accounts that violate these terms. On deletion, your profile, uploads, and associated data are permanently removed.
9. Liability
The platform is provided as-is. We are not liable for content uploaded by users or losses from service interruptions. Your use of the platform is at your own risk.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance.
